Dimensions of energy

Let us use the cases of: F=Ma - force = mass × acceleration, and, E=F - Energy = Force × distance (here is used, for "ength")

Dimensions in play:

  • [E]=ML2T2
    • [F]=MLT2
      • [a]=LT2 for (L being length, T being time)
      • [M]=M for (M being mass)
    • []=L for (L being length - as above)

We could also do:

  • [E]=NM "Newton Meters" - from [F]=Newtons and [L]=M
  • [E]=Kg M / S / S - Kilogram meters per second per second

This will be expanded on in future
