Let S∈P(Rn) be an an arbitrary subset of Rn - that is not empty - we define the convex hull, H as follows:
- H:=⋂C∈Convex(S;Rn)C- the intersection of all convex sets in Rn containing S
- Here Convex(A;Rp) denotes all the convex sets in Rp that contain A
